Overview
Supports the operational use of assigned software applications through delivery of solutions to meet customer requests. Customer service oriented and must promote a professional relationship with both customers and vendors. Coordinates issue escalation with vendor support. Responsible for coordinating updates, patches, maintenance, and backup routines with vendor, customer and internal IT team effectively. Responsible for delivering timely knowledge and service assistance on assigned applications.
Responsibilities

- Performs compliance requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Must adhere to the DCH Behavioral Standards including creating positive relationships with patients/families, coworkers, colleagues and with self.

- Identifies and reduces unsafe practices that may result in harm to patients, visitors and employees.
- Recognizes and takes appropriate action to reduce risks and hazards to promote safety for patients, visitors and employees.
- Requires use of electronic mail, time and attendance software, learning management software and intranet.
- Must adhere to all DCH Health System policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree and 3 years of hands of healthcare, business or IT experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience or certifications may substitute for education requirement.
- Exhibits interpersonal skills and abilities to deal effectively with all levels of personnel
- Possesses personal computer skills with experience in hospital or clinic applications
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English
Demonstrates basic skills in the following:
- Skill in financial applications, and/or clinical applications
