What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadership Position in Donor Services position at DCI Donor Services?
DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
As a Leadership Position in Donor Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clinical teams, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will work closely with Medical Directors and Medical Advisory Committees to implement policy and practice changes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead clinical operations team to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Manage call schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage is provided at all times
- Interact with Medical Directors and Medical Advisory Committee to implement policy/practice changes
- Support employment initiatives to include recruitment, rounding, coaching, mentoring, development, and counseling
- Provide onsite support in hospitals as needed
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered Nurse Credential
- 5 years OPO clinical experience
- 2 years leadership experience
- Valid Driver's License with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
