Logistician
Location: Crystal City, VA
Job Description:
Serve as a Sr. Logistician, supporting defense acquisition and sustainment commands
Provide life cycle logistics planning and execution and Program Management
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for the F-35 for:
- CAD/PAD
- RADAR
- Helmet Mounted Display System
Conduct logistics management operations
Align system requirements with government furnished equipment
Analyze and provide feedback on lifecycle analysis, product qualifications, and testing
Present recommendations to Government entities
Focus on managing and supporting Government furnished equipment for:
- CAD/PAD, RADAR, and Helmet Mounted Display System
Offer logistics expertise for:
- Aircraft, weapon systems, Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition
Provide strategy recommendations for increasing readiness and reducing cost
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Working independently and mentor team members
Qualifications:
BS in related field
10 years of experience with the following (8 years with a Master’s Degree):
- Acquisition, maintenance planning, logistics support
- Supportability analysis
- Operational availability analysis
- Resource requirements analysis of DoD aviation systems
Experience with:
- CAD/PAD, RADAR, and Helmet Mounted Display System
Experience in ILS Support and Lifecycle Support for global military logistic programs
Ability to plan/orchestrate major logistics sustainment programs at the enterprise level
Experience with F-35 Program
Avionics, Propulsion, and maintenance planning experience
Experience working with DLA and Gov’t contractors for sourcing and transportation
Required: Active Secret Clearance
