(DCL) is a premier custom manufacturer of specialty signage, custom interiors, unique lighting solutions, themed environments, tech-integrated installations, and elaborate sculptural elements with offices in Greater Boston, New York, and Orlando.
Currently, we're on the lookout for a highly creative and self-motivated Fabricator to join our spectacularly talented team, recognized as the best in the world at what they do!
At DCL, we value positive attitudes, quick thinking, and professionalism. As a Fabricator, you'll be a high-energy, solutions-oriented builder of custom signs, displays, and elaborate architectural elements. You will utilize various fabrication techniques, including (but not limited to) cutting, bending, welding, adhering materials with an assortment of bonds, and preparing them for the Paint department. You will thrive in our schedule-driven environment by managing time and multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a highly collaborative attitude.
If the following describes you, we want to hear from you!
- Fabrication and Welding Expertise: Experience in metal fabrication (aluminum preferred), welding, and/or carpentry with high-end finishes.
- Artistic Background: Degree or training in sculpture or another art medium is highly desired.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled with power and hand tools and able to read blueprints/shop drawings.
- Physical Stamina and Strength: Capable of lifting 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, and working under tight deadlines.
- Creativity and Problem-Solving Skills: High levels of creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Sense of Humor: Maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor.
- Communication Skills: Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Able to mentor and work effectively with others in a collaborative environment.
