Note : Physical data center migration exp is needed (no cloud migration) Strong Banking exp Infrastructure & Apps Experience.
Job Summary -
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end operations for a US based retail bank
- Project Management :
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including network, server, storage, and security implementations.
- Define project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), SLA's, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project dependencies and effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Team Leadership :
- Build and manage a high-performing team of infrastructure engineers, assigning tasks, providing mentorship, and fostering collaboration.
- Develop team capabilities through training and skill development initiatives, ensuring technical proficiency across the team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Technical Expertise :
- Good understanding of various infrastructure technologies including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), network design, data center operations, server virtualization, and security protocols.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the infrastructure landscape to identify potential solutions and improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to the team on complex issues.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.
- Proactively address client concerns and manage escalations effectively.
- Conduct regular client reviews and present project status updates.
- Cost and Quality Control :
- Monitor project budget and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality assurance processes to identify and address potential issues early on.
