What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at DCOMM?
The Administrative Assistant supports the local operation and initiatives with various duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to the following. New hire on-boarding, physical and electronic filing of employee specific documentation. Validate and enter completion codes and jobs details into DCOMM specific software. Answer inbound calls, follow up on requests and tasks depending on due dates. Take meeting notes. Any additional work-related job duties assigned by management.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic Word & Excel skills
- Reporting requirements for both local & corporate needs
- Run background checks for new hires.
- Request Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Schedule Drug Screening
- Answer inbound calls.
- Work with Human Resources and Crimshield to obtain badges for new hire,
- Facilitates cross-functional communications and cooperation with internal departments and service partners (sub-contractor)
- Maintains records and documents in accordance with company (Client & DCOMM) policies and procedures.
- Data entry into DCOMM specific software
- Adheres to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
- Knows, understands and follows company policy.
- Work with Accounting on billing and coding for technicians pay.
- Scan and file any policy or procedure documents signed into the employee specific folders.
- Performs other duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- At least 2 years of in-office experience?
SCHEDULE:
- The Administrative Assistant hours of operations may vary depending on company needs.
