POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue cycle management to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the organization. Focus will maximize alignment between value-based care contracts and federally qualified health centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor key revenue cycle integrity performance indicators and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and value-based initiative protocols.
- Establish, maintain, and contribute to policies and procedures related to revenue cycle management.
- Work with departmental management, partners, and key stakeholders to develop and update internal control documentation.
- Process narratives and risk control matrices periodically to include updated key internal controls, processes identified, and coding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline process and enhance revenue opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle operations and improve Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) billing performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to revenue cycle staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a focus on integrity and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue cycle performance improvements.
- Strong leadership, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Google Suite.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) certification will be required within 6 (six) months of hire.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:
This position is primarily sedentary in the Washington DC office with occasional overnight travel and may require some bending and lifting. DCPCA is a fast-paced, high-energy organization with an ambitious agenda and a staff that is highly motivated. This position may experience high work demands under tight timelines.
