Position Description: The Site Facilitator oversees the day-to-day operation of the DDI Vantage Early Intervention
Program team by orienting, mentoring, modeling, supervising and assisting early intervention program staff to provide direct and indirect services to children and families in the program.
Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years experience in early intervention. The successful applicant must meet the licensure, certification and/or registration requirements that correlate with the employee's degree or profession, and must complete a Baby Watch Early Intervention Program credential as part of their training. They must also pass a state and federal background screen and a motor vehicle records check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the team.
- Maintains working knowledge of the BTOTS database to run reports, monitor staff caseload and
ensure compliance on a regular basis. - Supervises and approves staffs’ work schedules, time cards, leave requests, mileage and
adherence to posted weekly schedule. - Ensures the quality of staff’s performance by observing them at home visits.
- Conducts employee performance reviews in accordance with policy.
- Understands Part C rules and regulations and works with the Assistant Program Coordinator to
ensure team compliance. - Functions as a service provider, carrying a caseload that is approved by the Program Coordinator
and compatible with supervisory duties. - Facilitates good communication across the agency.
- Plans, organizes, and implements staff in-service training and assists in periodic staff training.
