Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regularly.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, activities, and any concerns.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, daycare, or preschool is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
