We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Review blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Coordinate with project managers on scheduling, resource allocation, and contract management.
- Prepare construction estimates and manage budgets effectively.
- Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Ensure that all work is performed according to contract specifications and industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Primavera for scheduling and project management.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills and the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
