What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Electrical Works?
Electrical Works is looking for an Electrical Superintendent to oversee our electrical construction crews. This is a supervisory role; you will be responsible for both budget management and onsite personnel management. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple projects. You are responsible for maintaining job site safety, handling inspections, quality control, keeping jobs on schedule, pushing production, educating those beneath you, and submitting reports.
Role Responsibilities
- Work safely and efficiently while installing underground electrical utility systems.
- Monitor job for quality control
- Facilitate material requests
- Monitor onsite safety and OSHA requirements
- Ensure the crews progress efficiently to meet deadlines
Role Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial or large site development projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Equipment operating experience a plus
- Underground utility experience a plus
- Journeymen or Electrician license a plus
- Ability to travel is a plus
