Job Summary
Works with the EAP companies, within Clinic settings and within Outpatient Hospital Based Programs as needed to provide a variety of therapeutic services to patients enrolled in the EAP programs, Outpatient Hospital Based Programs and Collaborative Care Clinics including, but not limited to, individual, group and family counseling. Provides utilization review services as well as program development assistance.
Essential Functions:
- Provide individual counseling to EAP clients.
- Conducts CISDs and program required training.
- Document necessary information on the patient’s treatment plan
- Provide group therapy sessions incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy as needed
- Complete documentation and billing in a timely manner
- Provides Collaborative Care Services as needed
- Works within Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) as needed
- Provide utilization review services when necessary
- Coordinate regional EAP referrals
- Provide individual and/or family counseling as per licensure
- Complete discharge planning for patients as needed
- Maintain an accurate log of patient census
- Maintain positive channels of communication to ensure continuity of care
- Work with the billing department to resolve any financial or insurance issues
- Maintain up to date knowledge of advances in mental health treatment
Education:
- Master's Degree in social work or a related field.
Licenses
- Licensed mental health provider preferred.
- Licensed required within three to five years of date of hire
- LSW must be obtained within one year of graduation, if MSW
