Job Overview
- Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA regulations.
- Schedules procedures and appointments
- Updates and manages scheduling files and patient data.
- Coordinates patient placements and reschedules as needed.
- Proficient in cadence scheduling and multi-tasking.
- Handles inquiries, updates accounts, and ensures billing accuracy.
- Creates guarantors and verifies insurance coverage.
- Completes coverage training and verifies insurance eligibility
Required Certification/License/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- One or two years’ clerical/secretarial experience
Preferred Certification/License/Experience:
One to three years of experience in a physician office, hospital registration, or hospital billing preferred.
