Front Counter Parts Associate

Dealers Truck Equipment Co. Parts Position:

As a Longview, TX Front Counter Parts Associate, you will be the first (and sometimes only) person that our walk-in customers see and will need to put on your best customer service face every morning. This position will be engaged in selling parts to customers, pulling parts for customers and shop personnel, loading parts for customers, invoicing, receiving various forms of payment, ordering parts, receiving parts, as well as stocking parts.

Responsibilities:

*Greets customers in a timely and friendly manner

*Answers the phone as a backup to the office

*Helps walk-in and phone customers with parts needs

*Handles parts warranty claims

*Creates quotes for customers

*Orders parts for shop and customers, including special order parts

*Keeps track of parts orders, follow through from order to delivery to customer/shop

*Notifies customers when parts come in on a timely basis

*Receives in parts orders and puts them in the proper place

*Stocks shelves, cleans shelves, keeps parts organized

*Pulls parts for shop

*Loads parts for customer

*Completes sales transactions including receiving payments of cash, check, and credit card

Requirements:

*Minimum High School diploma

*Exceptional customer service skills

*Ability to work with people and talk to people in an effective and friendly manner

*Ability to use computers, perform data entry, and use Microsoft Office

*Normal standing, walking, bending needed in the office, warehouse, shop and on the yard during all seasons

*Ability to lift 75 lbs.

*Ability to operate a forklift

*Must be a TEAM PLAYER and HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE
