Job Responsibilities
As a Service Technician at Dean Arbour Ford of Tawas, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership standards.
- Perform work specified on the repair order, utilizing diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide estimates for repair time.
Additionally, you will execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications, maintain vehicle functional condition through regular inspections and testing, and verify serviceability by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems.
