About the Job:
The Equipment Operator at Dean Snyder Construction is responsible for operating a variety of heavy construction equipment, including cranes, to ensure project completion with high safety and quality standards. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge of:
- Proficiency in operating heavy construction equipment, including cranes.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to changing project requirements.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment, including cranes.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) must be able to pass Company MVR policy.
- National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification required.
- Certification in equipment operation (preferred but not required)
Physical Requirements:
- Operate heavy equipment 8 to 10 hours shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to handle equipment controls.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain
