Earthwork Site Superintendent
Job Description :
Dearborn Construction is seeking an experienced Earthwork Site Superintendent. This individual would be responsible for overseeing and managing sitework schedules, crews, as well as ordering materials. The Superintendent would be communicating with project managers, vendors, project owners, and other contractors on site. Requirements :
- Knowledge of civil construction operation and procedures.
- Knowledge of site layout along with GPS operation.
- Ability to read, interpret and possess a complete understanding of plans and blueprints.
- Knowledge of erosion control best practices and requirements.
- Responsible for project coordination. Ensuring conformity to plans, specifications and safety standards for the duration of the project.
- Possess complete knowledge of OSHA standards and Requirements.
- Possess communication skills, ability to manage and positively motivate a crew.
- Possess the ability to solve problems and adapt to changing conditions.
- Must be self-motivated and organized with strong work ethics.
- Minimum of 2 years of sitework construction supervision experience.
- Must have a valid drivers license with a good record.
Pay : $80,000 - $120,000 annually (based upon experience).
