The Dearborn Group is a high end landscape design, build, maintain company that has been in business for over 25 years with lots of growth potential! We are a family run and operated company with many long term employees. We are seeking someone that has experience in a fast paced landscape environment with the desire to completely manage construction projects as well as manage/monitor maintenance accounts & crews. Skills needed are the ability to do a variety of duties, from Microsoft Excel and Word (must have experience with these programs) to landscape and snow management, as well as crew management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for outdoor environments, with a focus on supervising teams in lawn care, garden maintenance, and landscape design. This role requires an individual who can effectively build and maintain relationships with clients while ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards.
Duties
- Supervise and manage landscaping projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with team members to execute lawn care, garden maintenance, and landscape design tasks effectively.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Maintain communication with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Oversee sub contractors when necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for landscape maintenance and construction
- Other duties as needed (All for one Dearborn)
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within the landscaping or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and construction techniques
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for outdoor work and commitment to delivering high-quality results in all landscaping endeavors.
