Director of Sales -SHORT TERM HIRE FROM NOVEMBER 2024 to MARCH 2025 (approx.)
You will work closely with the key customers purchasing, merchandising, and marketing teams along with internal teams to develop outstanding sales strategies and deliver impactful marketing support programs to deliver growing revenues.

- Lead wholesale business with vision and innovation, inspiring your team and the wider Company and fostering a culture of continuous growth.
- Drive excellence in sales at Target, managing the relationship and monitor the performance of brokers, as well as continuing the current relationships with the buying team.
- Pursue the identified opportunities for growth in a wider wholesale customer base.
- Lead strategy for developing wholesale business and achieving the company's annual sales goals
- Lead successful growth on customer's digital sites
- Show ability to develop impactful and innovative trade marketing programs based upon customer insights with internal marketing teams.
- Present business analytics to support the brand including monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc analysis.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Product Development, and Financial teams in developing business plans as projects move through the Innovation process. Continue high levels of quality, wholesale forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Continue ongoing assessment of the competitive landscape.
- Inspire your team to execute operational excellence, an unparalleled client experience, maximum profitability, and productivity as measured by the P&L and other financial reports.
- Deliver all aspects of client experience consistently across digital and stores
- Communicate with leadership and direct reports regarding sales reports, marketing campaigns, and day-today store operations
- Coach, inspire, and develop to maximize the success of your team.
- Minimum 8 years in sales/ business development, ideally in wellness (including vitamins), beauty, or food.
- Direct experience in leadership sales positions in US retailers, including Target. Experience in the Natural channel is a bonus.
- A college degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Passion and interest in the health/wellness sector
- Ability to feel comfortable with marketing on customers' digital sites as well as B&M.
- Strong leadership skills - proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Strong analytical skills, strong Excel skills, strong knowledge of the demand planning process and business planning.
- Systems thinking mindset - the ability to understand multiple interactions with the demand-driven Supply Chain.
- Strong knowledge of Brands' Go-To-Market strategies, brand positioning, and channel strategies.
- Strong management with influence skills - proven ability to work closely with cross-functional partners and leadership team (across marketing, finance, supply chain)
