Certification and License Requirements

As a Physical Therapist in Inpatient Rehab, you must hold the following certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• State License 1 Verification

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for our Inpatient Rehab department. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be licensed to practice in Illinois.

• Position/Specialty: Inpatient Rehab PT
• Shift: 5-day schedule with hours from 8am to 4:30pm
• Caseload: 50-60 patients on the OT caseload
• Weekend Requirement: Work one weekend per month
• Mandatory Requirements: Active IL license at time of start

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

• Providing physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting
• Assessing and treating patients with various conditions
• Developing and implementing treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care

Schedule Information

You can expect a stable and predictable schedule with guaranteed hours. However, please note that clients may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.

Unit Specific Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working in acute care settings and possess skills in lifting and transfer, patient/family education, and safety and injury prevention.

• Required Activities of Daily Living Skills/Experience: Adaptive Equipment, Pre-Discharge Planning
• Required Professional Skills and Knowledge: Lifting and transfer, Patient/Family Education, Safety and injury prevention

Additional Requirements

Please note the following requirements:

• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
• Driver's License: A legible copy of a valid/current US Driver's license or US ID card is required
