Odos is seeking a highly skilled Algorithmic Developer to drive innovation in institutional DeFi products. The ideal candidate will focus on the development of advanced trading algorithms, optimization of existing strategies, and enhancing execution efficiency across various use cases. This role requires a deep understanding of both traditional finance (TradeFi) and the crypto market, making it ideal for candidates with experience in crypto market-making, OTC trading desks, or algorithmic trading firms.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and refine algorithms to enhance trading performance across multiple DeFi liquidity sources.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to facilitate algorithmic execution in a high-performance trading environment.
Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously optimize existing algorithms to improve profitability, scalability, and robustness.
Conduct backtesting and performance analysis to validate and refine strategies before deployment.
Integrate with on-chain and off-chain data sources and execute trades through smart contracts and various liquidity providers.
Ensure seamless interaction between algorithms and DeFi trading infrastructure, including DEX aggregators and automated market makers (AMMs).
Stay updated on the latest DeFi trends, research new algorithmic approaches, and incorporate market intelligence into strategy development.
Provide recommendations and execute enhancements for existing programs to maintain a competitive edge.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience developing algorithmic trading systems, ideally in TradeFi, crypto market-making, or OTC trading environments.
Proficiency in Rust, Python and C for high-performance algorithmic trading.
Experience with DeFi trading platforms, APIs, and smart contract interactions.
Understanding of Ethereum and EVM-compatible blockchains, gas optimization, and MEV strategies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a small cross-functional team.
