Position Summary:
Reports to Administrator regarding day-to-day activities in a detox facility. Runs psycho-educational groups maintains rules and reports patient concerns to supervisor. Responsible for documentation, including, but not limited to, case management notes, ADLs, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Must be a team player and proactive. Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and BIO-Psych-Socials Assessments, Cleaning, Rounds, Assisting with ADLs as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Position:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have current fingerprint clearance or be able to obtain one
- Required to provide other shift duties
- Required to check food temperatures and serve prepared meals and snacks
- Must have medical training (CNA, EMT, MA)
- Behavioral health knowledge with case management
- Associates/Bachelors or college transcripts,
- Two- to four years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality
- Must be open-minded, flexible, and willing to take direction
- Must work well in a crisis setting and be willing to learn new crisis intervention techniques
- An employee is preferred to have experience with recovery and be familiar with community fellowships such as AA, NA, SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, etc.
