Job description
Deck Remodelers is recognized as a national leader in the outdoor living design/ build space. We are seeking an administrator to join our team and work with our Project Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a self-starter, phone and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of zoning and building permit process preferred. We will train you to work on our system and you will have a team supporting you as you learn.
Responsibilities:
- Support Architectural Project Development Manager
- Verify 3D’s and survey are up to date and the client file is ready for Architect.
- Provide client with Electrical and Plumbing selection and scope of work.
- Communicate client information, scope of work, 3D’s with Electricians and Plumbers.
- Email Architectural assignment letter.
- Prepare Zoning, Building, Construction, Electrical and Plumbing forms for filing.
- Print, staple & fold all required plans & surveys.
- Prepare Zoning applications and prepare the FedEx mailings.
- Make copies of all Permit applications and upload them onto our business system.
- Track all FedEx packages and enter information into our business system.
- Review and compare contract and 3d’s for consistency.
- Follow up with clients on selections of Electrician and Plumber
- Follow up with zoning / building department regarding status of permits.
- Maintain and update the “Job Notes Sheet” on our Google drive daily.
- Make daily logs and upload Final CD’s and DWG’s in our business system
- Upload Plumbing and Electrical contracts into our business system.
- Send out Client Review emails.
Skills:
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe PDF
- Training is provided in our business system, BuilderTrend.
- No prior construction experience necessary, but knowledge of construction process a plus.
