Inside Sales Representative

Decker - The CAT Rental Store is HIRING IMMEDIATELY for an Inside Sales Associate to join the Bridgeport, CT team!

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour depending on experience

Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (4 days during the week)

7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Saturday)

Required qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Knowledge / experience with one or more of the following: Construction, Water Sewer and Storm Products, Concrete Accessories, Masonry Supplies, Laser/Surveying Equipment, Equipment Sales/Rentals
• Computer/software savvy
• Strong communication (written and verbal) required
• Strong customer service skills required

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Inside Sales Associate is responsible for the following tasks:

• Counter sales
• Answer incoming calls
• Working on the computer to process orders
• Assist walk-in customers with equipment and product information
• Selling construction supplies and renting equipment to our customers
• Order supplies and maintain appropriate product inventory levels
• Provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Knowledge / experience with one or more of the following: Construction, Water Sewer and Storm Products, Concrete Accessories, Masonry Supplies, Laser/Surveying Equipment, Equipment Sales/Rentals
• Minimum 1-3 years of counter / sales experience
• Saturday and overtime availability required
• Construction industry experience or knowledge required
• Ability to multitask & be organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Computer proficient
