We have an immediate opportunity available for an experienced individual to join our team as a Recruiting Office Assistant at our West Des Moines office. Great working schedule of Monday-Friday 7-4pm or 8-5pm and flexible as needed.
A Day in the Life of a Recruiting Office Assistant
- Assisting in qualifying potential DOT driver applicants according to Federal DOT Guidelines
- Utilizing third-party databases to run background checks, MVRs, CDLIS and PSPs
- Conducting previous employment references via phone, email, fax, website
- Maintaining applicant information in our databases
- Backing up phone calls and duties for others in the Department when needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced but professional work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A background in Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet is required
