• Afternoon - 2nd Load Deck: Monday-Friday – 12:00pm – 8:00pm*
• Afternoon - 2nd IMM: Monday-Friday – 1:00pm – 9:20pm*
• Afternoon - 2nd Unload: Monday-Friday – 3:00pm – 11:00pm*
• Overnight - 3rd Load Deck: Monday-Friday 8:00pm – 4:00am**
• Overnight - 3rd IMM: Monday-Friday – 9:00pm – 5:20am**
• Overnight - 3rd Unload: Monday-Friday – 11:00pm – 7:00am**

Daily mandatory overtime and additional days likely for all shifts. 12 hour shifts likely.

*Shift premium of $0.50/hour

Job Summary

Production Team Members operate various machinery and perform manual processes to produce components for vehicles. Additional tasks may include quality assurance, performing basic troubleshooting and keeping workstations clean, among others.

Key Responsibilities of Production Team Member

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures established for each workstation.
• Maintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets Decostar standards.
• Know and understand Decostar’s Quality and Environmental policies.
• Perform assemblies and other job functions per work guidance sheets
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental performance objectives on a daily basis as directed by the Department Manager.
• Perform all work within the guidelines of the control plan to ensure parts quality and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.
• Report any accident, injury, or near miss to the Department Manager immediately and report any unsafe work conditions in the workplace.
• Maintain a clean work area and report malfunctioning equipment to the Production Manager on a daily basis.
• Return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift.
• Record and report all data required to maintain daily production records and submit the data to the Department Manager for input into the data collection system.
• Maintain proper documentation of production.
• Flexible to work overtime.
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Skills and Experience Required

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand communication orally and in writing
• Ability to maintain a friendly, professional, and businesslike approach to work.
• Ability to exhibit common sense and sound practical judgment in solving day-to-day problems.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

• This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing and/or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulder on an occasional basis.

Pay: $15.68 - $16.43 per hour
