Job description
Dedicated Logistics Partner provides dedicated overnight delivery of auto parts and industrial equipment parts throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S. and utilizing 3 operating terminals. Dedicated Logistics Partner is currently seeking candidates qualified to interview for our Part Time Dispatcher role at our terminal in Albany, NY.
Position: Part-Time Dispatcher/ Customer Service
Job Type: Part Time
Hours:
- Tuesday - Saturday
- 6 AM - 11 AM
Job Details:
- Coordinating and communicating information to drivers, the terminal manager, as well as organizing and tracking relevant information according to customer demands.
- Ability to track drivers using Geotab/ELD software.
- Answer incoming phone calls and/or inquiries, maintain and providing positive and effective service to both internal and external customers.
- Communicate with customers, drivers, and other personnel throughout shift to facilitate dispatch operations
- Monitors and validates accuracy of dispatch entries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified candidates should have experience using Microsoft office and all its components
- Willing to learn quickly and independently.
- Should have a passion dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Great customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
