What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Dedicated Nursing Associates?
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing the company's financial performance by implementing robust policies, procedures, and systems that drive revenue and maintain financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and ensure timely resolution.
- Make 100 outgoing calls daily to clients to retrieve outstanding payments.
- Achieve a company-wide outstanding balance of 6% and an individual target of 7%.
- Work diligently to reduce accounts receivable delinquency and maintain accurate records of AR activity.
- Process client payments efficiently to encourage prompt debt settlement.
- Assist with special projects and research assignments as directed by the AR Manager.
- Provide detailed reports on accounts receivable activity to the AR Manager, Controller, CFO, and CEO.
- Work in a full-time office setting unless otherwise directed by the Executive Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with office equipment and basic accounting software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed work performance goals, including those related to AR collections.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and occasionally move about the office, bend, or reach.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based, with occasional duties outside the typical office setting as directed by the Executive Team.
