Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Java Developer to work for us as our direct, W2 hourly employee on a part time basis for up to 20 hours per week. You will:
- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Java 8, JavaScript, C, PHP, servlets, JSPs, Apache/Tomcat, jQuery, CSS, SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, and Git.
- Work with RESTful services, both producing and consuming them.
- Utilize Jersey framework for building RESTful web services.
- Collaborate on various projects as assigned by the IT team.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions on a part-time basis (up to 20 hours per week).
- Participate in Agile development processes.
- Use issue tracking systems to report and resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Java, Java 8, JavaScript, PHP, Servlets, and JSP.
- Experience with Apache/Tomcat, jQuery, and CSS for front-end development.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with SQL Server and MySQL
- Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Experience working with RESTful services (producing and consuming).Familiarity with the Jersey framework for building RESTful APIs.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Experience with issue tracking tools.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with C programming language is a plus
Familiarity with non-profit CRM systems, including:
- Donor management
- Fundraising tracking
