Job Title: Performance Test Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH, USA

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop comprehensive performance test strategies, plans, and scripts using LoadRunner, JMeter, and BlazeMeter.
Conduct end-to-end performance engineering including workload modeling, test scripting, scenario design, and result analysis.
Identify system bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend performance optimizations.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and architects to design for performance at all layers of the application stack.
Create performance baselines and monitor system behavior under load and stress conditions.
Implement continuous performance testing in CI/CD pipelines and automate performance testing tasks.
Produce detailed performance test reports and dashboards for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Guide junior testers and act as a subject matter expert for performance testing and engineering.
< class="" data-start="1995" data-end="2033">Required Skills & Experience:
5 years of hands-on experience with LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, and BlazeMeter.
Proven experience in performance engineering (not just test execution).
Strong understanding of application architecture (web, distributed systems, cloud-native apps).
Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana).
Familiarity with protocols like HTTP/S, WebSockets, REST, SOAP, JDBC.
Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
Solid scripting/programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and testing cloud-native applications is desirable.
