Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Executive Management Team, provide support in the general operation of the company’s motor vehicles, through heavy traffic, detours, road construction, and adverse weather conditions while maintaining a safe, secure and on-time delivery schedule of Deep Roots Harvest manufactured products to State of Nevada licensed marijuana establishments and the delivery or pickup of other miscellaneous items, related to the Company’s business needs
Essential Functions:
-
Work directly with the Lead Transportation Agent on the execution of daily SOPs
Work with Lead on the execution of Daily Vehicle Log and Vehicle Checks utilizing Track Via
Coordinate with order fulfillment team in preparation for delivering of marijuana products to licensed marijuana establishments across the State of Nevada

Coordinate with the Logistics team in preparation for the delivery or pickup of other miscellaneous products, related to the Company’s business needs, which may require employee to show proper personal identification

Plan delivery routes and communicate to customers the approximate date and time for deliveries
Work closely with the order fulfillment team to verify the accuracy of shipping manifests to ensure the paperwork reflects the physical inventory destined for that day’s deliveries

Accountable for a strict chain of custody concerning all items being transported

Must remain alert to any and all suspicious persons or vehicles while in transport with marijuana products

Ensure that items being transported are secure and discreet
-
Able to operate a motor vehicle through heavy traffic, detours, road construction, and adverse weather conditions while maintaining on-time scheduled deliveries

Drivers will be required to demonstrate safe driving skills during a probationary period
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on cell phone or two-way radios with the deliver point of origin as well as the receiving facility

Upon executing a delivery, drivers will interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
-
Drivers will make every effort to resolve issues associated with the delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.

Delivery Drivers will comply with laws, rules, ordinances and regulations established by the State of Nevada, Division of Taxation and the City of Mesquite for the compliant distribution of marijuana

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Knowledge of State of Nevada motor vehicle operation laws
Minimum Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Previous delivery/transport/security experience preferred
-
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting. walking, lifting and repetitive motions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)

Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong-smelling marijuana odors and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
