Junior Computer Vision & Robotics Engineer

Overview
A robotics company is looking for a Junior Computer Vision & Robotics Engineer to help develop perception systems for real-world applications. You'll work with sensor data and contribute to building reliable, high-performance robotics solutions. This role requires travel one week per month to assist with deployments and on-site debugging.
Responsibilities
- Process sensor data from LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and cameras for robotic applications
- Implement 3D perception algorithms for object detection, tracking, and mapping
- Optimize and improve vision-based systems for embedded platforms
- Assist in setting up automated testing and integration pipelines
- Work with cross-functional teams in robotics and software development
- Travel one week per month for deployments and system debugging
Requirements
- Experience with C and Python for robotics and vision applications
- Familiarity with Linux environments and ROS/ROS2
- Understanding of 3D data processing (point clouds, SLAM, or tracking)
- Knowledge of basic robotics concepts like state estimation and motion tracking
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
