The EDIT Program is designed for individuals who desire to assume the key leadership role of Executive Director that is essential to delivering a first-class living experience at our communities. We know that having the right leadership in our communities is the foundation of our success. Our program provides hands on training and work experience that represent the Koelsch Core Values and Quality Standards. This on-the job training program includes areas such as marketing, finance, operations, and compliance.
What you'll do:
This program includes:
- 12 – 18 month-long training program while being mentored by the Director of Training and Culture
- Training to develop a skill set across all departments and functions
- Leadership development and certifications required for ED role
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain an Administrator’s License in any state Koelsch Communities operates in
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to problem solve, resolve conflicts and make decisions with sound reasoning, good judgement and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic; Ability to manage tasks and work with little direct supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice
- Must be willing to relocate for training and potential placement in a community
- Must be Drug free and submit to Urinary Analysis Drug screening upon hire and routinely.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Koelsch Communities.
- Executive Directors in Training receive a base compensation package while training. Upon successful completion of the program, the EDIT may be eligible for placement in a permanent Executive Director role or other leadership opportunities.
