PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage a growing ecommerce platform at Deer Valley, overseeing our online retail offerings, maintaining fresh and exciting inventory both online and in your warehouse space.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain the retail ecommerce offerings.
- Writing product descriptions, updating photos.
- Addition of new products, as well as removing discontinued products.
- Analyze user trends, metrics and reporting for optimizing traffic, sales offerings and content.
- Coordinate with resort marketing team for social media postings, campaigns.
- Order fulfillment including packaging and preparing items for shipment.
- Monitor ecommerce inventory, working closely with distribution center manager on replenishment needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task.
- Writing skills with attention to grammar, and creativity.
- Computer skills including but not limited to: word, excel, Shopify and retail POS system.
- Order fulfillment and inventory management may entail lifting up to 35lbs. Also working on a ladder at times.
- Experience using Shopify or other online retail platforms a plus.
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
- This is an on-site position that will have potential periods of reduced hours from May to July.
