The Assistant Director of Front Office responsibilities include:
- Leading by example to support the department and providing direct service to guests as needed
- Creating, implementing, and executing departmental training, recruiting and pre-shifts
- Act as an ambassador for VIP guests, coordinating and overseeing their requests across all departments
- Overseeing the arrival and departure experience ensuring guest expectations are always exceeded
- Supporting the resort's safety procedures and being always prepared for emergency situations
- Ensuring all human resource and Forbes Five-Star standards are met daily
Candidates must have at least three years of hotel management experience, preferably in a luxury environment. Strong skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Experience with Infor HMS, HotSos, Zingle, UKG and Alice are a plus. The role requires the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills are also required.
