Responsibilities

Front of the House at The Porch Restaurant, Tiki Hut, beach and pool

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders to guests relaxing by the beach, bar, pool, or restaurant

• Help set up beach chairs, umbrellas, games, and other amenities to enhance guest comfort

• Provide information and assist with guest requests

• Properly maintain and stock service areas to the highest standard of cleanliness

Back of House in the Kitchens

• Support culinary operations by helping with food preparation, setup, and plating

• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in storage areas and workspaces

• Collaborate with chefs and F&B staff to meet guest dining expectations   

Events, Weddings, and Banquets

• Assist with the setup, coordination, breakdown, and service of resort events, including weddings, conferences, and special celebrations

• Greet guests, handle seating arrangements, and provide on-site support to ensure seamless event execution

• Work with the event coordinator to manage schedules and troubleshoot any last-minute challenges

Front Desk

• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries at the front desk

• Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests with professionalism and a friendly attitude

• Maintain the lobby’s appearance, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests

• Provide local recommendations and assist with concierge services

Housekeeping

• Assist in cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and vacuuming

• Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to maintain a high standard of service

• Report any maintenance issues, lost items, or guest requests to supervisors promptly

• Ensure public spaces are tidy, well-stocked, and presentable at all times

Requirements

• A positive attitude, playful disposition, and willingness to learn across multiple areas

• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, including weekends and holidays

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a guest-first mindset

• The ability to work on your feet for extended periods, outdoors in beach or pool environments

• Capable of lifting 25 pounds
