Job Summary
Under limited supervision, operate multiple types of dairy equipment machines used for cheese and/or whey manufacturing processes, to produce products according to company specifications, quality, and safety objectives. You will also inspect, calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot the production equipment, and perform preventive/general maintenance, and communicate to Cheesemakers and/or Process Specialists any issues and adjustments that may be needed. A Dairy Equipment Operator must have the ability to adapt quickly to different situations, the ability to handle stressful situations well, and be team oriented.
Shift Hours
5:30PM – 6:00AM, 2-2-3 schedule
What you need to be considered for the role:
- Required: High School or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience and/or training required.
- Prior experience working with food manufacturing equipment desirable.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
20-50lbs lifting, Climbing, Humid, Extreme Cold and Extreme Hot Temperatures
