Requirements
- Licensing & Credentials:
- Active, non-expired Maryland State Police Security Guard Card.
- Active, non-expired Maryland State Police Handgun Permit.
- Evidence of security guard training as required by the Maryland State Police and Maryland Police Training Commission.
- 2 years of armed security experience
- Driving Requirements:
- Active, non-expired driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain on feet or walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to work in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
- Awareness & Conduct:
- Strong situational awareness and vigilance at all times.
- Strict prohibition of personal phone use while on duty.
Training & Standards
