Defender One is currently seeking a Supervisor
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise Armed and Unarmed Security Officers.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels by collaborating with the assigned Regional Manager
- to interview, select, train, evaluate, and discipline associates as needed.
- Patrol the property during assigned shifts, identifying potential security and/or safety
- hazards, and reporting them to the appropriate individual to ensure the safety and
- protection of visitors and homeowners.
- Use internal software to manage security officers
- Serve as a back-up to Security Officers on assigned shifts and assume their duties when necessary.
- Prepare and request reports on incidents.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the property and special events to advise guests and
- fellow associates accordingly.
- Interact with visitors and homeowners in a professional manner.
- Ensure a high level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the property.
- Demonstrate customer service skills and act as a role model for employees.
- Convey positive energy and enthusiasm during customer interactions.
- Continuously improve service by evaluating problems using feedback or data and involving the team in service improvements.
- Address service issues immediately and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Develop skilled employees, set realistic and measurable service standards, and hold employees accountable for meeting them.
- Communicate and enforce company expectations, including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals, and business strategy.
- Address employee performance issues, coach for improvement, and provide ongoing feedback.
- Recommend disciplinary action or discipline employees.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of supervisor experience
- Two years of armed security guard experience
- Valid MSP guard card
- Valid Handgun Permit
- Experience with public contact is preferred
- Ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer programs
- Investigative skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Schedule & Availability:
- Flexible shifts
- Nights
- Weekends
- Holidays, as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $55,500 to $65,500 per year
