CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri is home of the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear School, Army Engineer School, and U.S. Army Military Police School. Fort Leonard Wood covers more than 61,000 acres located in Pulaski County with a population of nearly 52,607. Bordering the installation to the north are the towns of Waynesville and St. Robert, with an estimated combined population of 9,170. The installation is situated between St Louis and Springfield, Missouri 1 ½ to 2 hours respectively. Also 30 minutes equidistant between Rolla and Lebanon along I-44. It is also a great place to raise a family along with a low cost of living.
Responsibilities
Serves as a social worker providing individual, family, and group clinical counseling services using various evidenced based modalities as clinically indicated for beneficiaries, adults, which may include children. Assists clients to identify and manage personal, psychological and interactive problems, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems associated with occupational, school, family, and personal adjustment. Develops individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis, identified problems and treatment needs for each case. Coordinates with patients work environment, social service agencies, schools, primary care, specialty clinics and other organizations to promote seamless service and support to patients. Provides limited case management to improve individual family and occupational functioning and mitigate crises. Works closely with multi-disciplinary treatment staff to synchronize efforts across the continuum of care. Provides emergency on-call crisis management services for adult and child behavioral health cases as designated by the section or department needs. Responsible for documentation which includes: monthly reports on patients seen outcome/assessment results, clinical issues of significance, and other data as requested.
Qualifications
- One full year of professional experience.
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Qualify for and maintain credentials in BHD as an independent health care provider.
- Must possess a Masters degree in Social Work
- Must have 1 year of licensed experience as a clinical social worker.
Salary : $82,830 - $107,680
