Jr. Process Engineer (NPI)
The Jr. Process Engineer is responsible for implementing new processes, improving existing processes, and provide technical support to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing of assemblies.
Responsibilities of the Jr. Process Engineer :
Must be able to read prints and be familiar with assembly techniques using through hole, surface mount and mixed technology.
Must have a working knowledge in electronic components and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBâ s).
Familiarity with production equipment : screen printer, reflow, pick & place, and through hole automation.
Must have complete understanding of process flow and plant layout.
Supervise, develop and train production personnel in efficient process assembly techniques.
May perform other duties as required to support manufacturing.
Qualifications of the Jr. Process Engineer :
3 to 5 years of electronics manufacturing or Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) industry experience with exposure to electronic assembly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey / articulate technical concepts to audiences in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute plans to identify and solve technical problems.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and good time management and organizational skills while managing competing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other industry software.
Ability to produce quality work under the constraints of the project.
