Job Summary
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations within the facility, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and property. This role involves managing security personnel, coordinating surveillance activities, and implementing loss prevention strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in law enforcement or military service, and expertise in conflict management and surveillance techniques.

Duties

• Supervise and train security staff to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Monitor CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises and respond to incidents as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
• Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Manage conflict situations effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques to resolve issues peacefully.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required to address security concerns or incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations for reporting purposes.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within security or law enforcement settings.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation.
• Experience in loss prevention strategies and techniques.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Military background or law enforcement experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekends only
