Your challenge:
As an Account Executive (AE) for Definitive Healthcare, you will manage, renew, and grow our medium and large tier clients. In this role you will manage the overall client relationship for upsell and revenue retention with existing clients and build your book selling to New Logo in the prospect part of the assigned portfolio. You will be supported by a team consisting of Solution Consultants, Analytic Engagement Managers, Customer Service Managers and Sales Development Representatives.
Here are the things you will tackle:
- Build relationships with key buyers to support the continued use and ROI of DHC services
- Engage with senior decision makers to drive growth opportunities within your assigned client accounts
- Work closely with the Customer Success organization to optimize usage and value of DHC services
- Manage the renewal decision making and procurement process
- Execute a consultative sales process in order to align client issues and needs with DHC’s solutions
- Meet and exceed renewal and upsell quotas
- Accurately forecast opportunities and update CRM
What you’ll need:
- BA or BS degree
- 3 years of individual, quota-carrying selling experience
- 3 years managing and growing client accounts
- Proven track record as a top performer working with large complex clients
- Experience in healthcare-related sales with a demonstrated understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities encountered by hospital and health system executive stakeholders, including Chief Information Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, and Chief Strategy Officers
- Experience in selling consumer data solutions within healthcare organizations, with a strong understanding of the healthcare advertising and marketing ecosystem, is a plus
- Experience negotiating and closing annual and multi-year service contracts
- A powerful work ethic with tons of energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
- Superior communication skills
- Exceptional closing skills
