Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with their parts needs, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. Your expertise in automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills will be crucial in providing our clients with the best possible experience.
Duties
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts for their needs.
- Manage stock levels and ensure that inventory is organized and accurately maintained.
- Process orders efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery of parts.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to handle transactions and cash effectively.
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on automotive repair and service options to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Excel for tracking inventory data and generating reports as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or retail, particularly within the automotive industry, is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is a plus.
- Proficiency in cash handling and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Experience with order fulfillment processes and stock management practices is beneficial.
