What You’ll Do
As the sole in-house IT professional, you will :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support needs, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across all three office locations.
- Collaborate with our outsourced IT provider to resolve complex issues and ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide hands-on technical support for employees at all levels, delivering solutions with professionalism and approachability.
- Manage and optimize the use of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Maintain and enhance the firm’s document management systems.
- Develop, implement, and update IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system integrity.
- Perform regular software updates and system maintenance to maximize efficiency and security.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Build, deploy, and configure Windows PCs, laptops, and standard applications.
- Manage IT-related tasks for new hires, such as equipment setup and account configurations.
- Partner with third-party suppliers to resolve faults and manage configuration requests.
- Oversee the IT support mailbox, ensuring prompt responses and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with the phone provider to assign and manage employee extensions.
- Provide hands-on support for system upgrades, conversions, and other IT projects.
