Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and liability claims.
- Conducting thorough legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
- Develop litigation strategies tailored to each case.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members
- Present compelling arguments and persuasively advocate for clients in court
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
- 10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Maintaining composure under pressure and upholding ethical standards.
- Clear, confident, and effective communication with judges, juries, clients, and opposing counsel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
