Supplier in Wilson, NC is Hiring an EHS Specialist!
Pay Rate: $75,000 to $85,000 plus benefits/bonus
Shift: 1st shift (Day Shift) 8 hours per day Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Ensure facility is operating in compliance with all applicable OSHA Health and Safety regulations and requirements as codified in state and federal regulations. Communicate with the leadership team.
- Facilitate / oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and closure of corrective actions. Review safety statistics, conduct trend analysis and make recommendations for continual improvements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective EHS management system in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Conduct workplace inspections & audits and provide corrective/prevention action plan.
- Provide new hire safety training orientation and training and education to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems with the standard quality tools.
- Culture improvement driven.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Rigorous and exemplary focus.
- Working Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 an ISO 45001 standards is a plus.
