As a Staff Accountant you will make a direct impact on the company by providing support and thorough analysis that helps leadership make informed, data-driven decisions.
The position includes facilitating financial statement preparation for the organizations’ assets and other related financial activities, managing the monthly closing processes, establishing guidelines for business activity reports, maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, bank account reconciliations, accounts receivables and payables, and providing support and documentation to outside auditors for tax reporting purposes.
Hours:
Position is an hourly non-exempt position with core hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with the flexibility of working on a project completion basis and outside the typical work day.

Education/Experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred. One to three years of experience are preferred, but not required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manages the monthly closing process and establishes guidelines for business activity reports.
· Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and related reports for business units.
· Maintains Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.
· Maintains the general ledger and prepares required journal entries.
· Reconciles bank accounts monthly, verifies deposits, and transaction activity.
· Presents recommendations to management on short and long-term objectives and policies.
· Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform tax reporting/preparation.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
