Landscape Controller Position Overview:
The Landscape Controller will work closely with the General Managers and Operating teams at Outworx Group’s Landscaping divisions (GroundTek, Gold Landscape & Lawn Butler) as well as plan and direct the accounting operations of the Landscaping Divisions. |
Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including overseeing invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Cash Management: Manage cash flow, monitor banking activities, and optimize the use of surplus funds.
- Supervision: Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the organization's growth and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA Preferred.
- Experience: Relevant experience in accounting and finance. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.Technical
- Skills: Proficiency in financial software, such as ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non-finance professionals and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are essential in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information and transactions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and requirements.
