What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Office (Human Resources) Verification Assistant 2022-2023 position at DeKalb County School District?
- Prepares written and/or verbal salary and employment history verification of current and former employees, in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Research employees’ salary and employment information using Cross pointe, microfilm, card catalogue, and personnel files.
- Communicates with current and former employees, outside agencies, school secretaries, record clerks, and transportation staff, by telephone, and/or written correspondence, concerning verification of salary and employment history information.
- Maintains a good working relationship with the Department of Labor, Georgia Housing Authority, Social Security Office, Federal Loan Service, and Department of Family and Children Services, as well as, other school districts, mortgage companies, apartment leasing offices, and car dealerships.
- Develops and maintain an on-going log and filing system of all related activities to salary and employment history verification information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
